About me...
Hi, I’m Lydia, a certified nail technician since 2006 and the creator of Glamourous Nails, established in 2007.
Before becoming certified, I was already creating my own nails — experimenting with styles, shapes, colors, and designs. From the very beginning, I’ve always been drawn to bold, glamorous nails — rhinestones, dramatic shapes, and eye-catching styles.
I began my journey in Puerto Rico, where I built my clientele under Glamourous Nails after becoming certified. In 2016, I relocated to New York, where I was presented with a great opportunity in office management. While my career path shifted, my passion for nails never left. I continued creating nail designs for myself, friends, and family, always staying connected to the artistry I love.
Through social media, I am often asked about custom press-on nails and nail services. Those requests inspired me to launch the Glamourous Nails Press-On Collection and continue sharing my creativity with clients near and far.
Each press-on set is handmade by me using salon-quality gel and comes ready to wear. You'll find a variety of styles ranging from glamorous and bold to elegant, classic, seasonal, and custom designs. Whether you love statement nails filled with sparkle or prefer a clean, sophisticated look, there is something for everyone.
I truly believe life is too short to have boring nails. To me, nails are a form of self-expression, confidence, and creativity. That belief inspires every set I create.
